They look like Borlas.

Smart move placing those mini-ramps on carpet. On concrete they can slide clear across the garage floor. LOL

Looks good. Any special advice to other do-it-yourselfers?

come on guys- give him a break on the wheels - I have a friend who bought an auto (and amazingly he is still my friend after buying an auto) and looking at those wheels on his car is a somewhat refreshing break from the standard wheels- but that could just be me- I mean I would not put them on my car but I have only seen 8's in my area with the standard 18's

Yes it is kn intake and borla exhaust. Also about the wheels i am trying to get 18's or 19's at the moment but i don't have enough money yet. Im either just going to buy the stock 18's or get 18 or 19 inch volk te's.

I would have done rims BEFORE the exhaust or the Mazdaspeed spoiler.

Nice - your car is almost a twin of mine.

I'll be selling my stock 18's along with tires soon. They have just over 2,000 miles on them. I don't see any wear on the tires.

those 16 inch wheels are GAY TODAY! lol.. there is a rx8 in my apartment complex. auto. 16 inch wheels. cloth interior. CRAPPY. it doesnt give the rx8 the justice it deserves.. I say, that if you got the money to drop on aftermarket mods. why the hell didnt you drop some of that money on getting a better version of the 8 right out of the blocks..... and if anyone has a problem with me voicing my opinion..... YOUR MOTHER

The main reason that i didn't get a loaded rx-8 is because my mother didn't want to me to get a sports car in the first place. I had to bug and bug to buy this car with my own money. She wanted me to get a 2004 accord or something. So all and all i just didn't want to argue with her anymore so i just told her i'll get bone stock and she finally agreed. That is why i am dropping aftermarket parts after because she cant say anything. I wanted to get a fully loaded manual rx8 without navi but my mom can't drive manual and she said i was going to college soon and i would probally leave the car here so she would want to drive it. But no worries soon my car will have different rims.

quit bashing on the ride people, honestly its smarter that he got the 16's now he has enough cash to get better rims than our stock 18s. so stock or not stock auto or manual 16's or 18's its a rx8... nuff said

I think that is a lot of money just for rims but.. ill see when i get the money ready and all. What rims do u think will look good on my 8 ? got any ideas?

Is that the Typhoon intake? You can buy the stock 18's from members on this forum. I agree with -8-, but to each his own.

hey I got the same rims with my 8 and yes, they aren't that great, but I'm already planning to change the rims for some 18's. I don't care what other people think about em right now because most people that I talk to about my 8 already know I'm getting new rims.

I always find it interesting that the kids that own the RX-8 would rather use the money they do have on aftermarket stuff,... instead of paying off the car first. Priorities. Guess that's why the parents are the key to these purchases.
