Looks good. My dealership (Tonkin Mazda) in Portland did the same thing. Although they did it for a promotional car like you did, they did put a price on it just in case someone came in and just had to have it. This caused a lot of negative reaction when I posted about it here. Don't really get that. Here's a pic:

that's right, i knew i remembered it. not only was it because of the price but they were also touting it as a MS8. that's the reason for negative reaction.

One thing you will find with us is that we will not tell you want to hear. Another is that my department is deticated to just aftermarket we dont try to sell cars we dont go out on the lot and try to get people inside to buy a car. We focus on aftermarket 100%. Anyone can come off the street and cone in to our part of the dealership and buy aftermarket and not a car.

your 8 looks very nice and you've chosen a very classy look (especially those wheels
) which is why you have received nothing but compliments so far. just don't go the route of Tonkin Mazda and call it something that it's not. it's a beautiful showcar 8 that showcases some of what you and your shop can do.

i have no reason to believe otherwise. the comment i made before was for aipex to explain why people had a negative reaction to his post. saying that a car is a MS8 simply because they went through the catalogue and bought everything MS in there just isn't right. there was no MS8 and i'm giong to go out on a limb here and say there will never be a MS8 (or at least not on this model).
your 8 looks very nice and you've chosen a very classy look (especially those wheels ) which is why you have received nothing but compliments so far. just don't go the route of Tonkin Mazda and call it something that it's not. it's a beautiful showcar 8 that showcases some of what you and your shop can do.

looks good, I might have to stop by there when I'm there in a couples weeks. I'd have to say +1 to mazsport turbo if it's a show car... if you look up pictures of it, you'll see why. Looks very clean and shiny and would draw attention. Doing anything interior such as seats?

The car is going to be there for a while. It is not currently for sale. So im sure you will get to check it out. We should have the Audio system in it by next month. I will post new pics as we add things to the car.
