IN AN ATTEMPT TO KEEP ALL PHOTOS IN ONE THREAD: I've posted the following since taking delivery:
Well folks, here it is. Ordered at the end of August, and certainly worth the wait. I scooped it up Monday, and finally found my digi-cam cord to connect to the compooper today....more pics to come soon (even though there seems to be a flood of black 8's this week). Thanks to all who put in info that helped me through the anxiety and anticipation stages and gave infor so I could know the car's ins and outs when I took delivery.

Now THAT's a good lookin' car... I'm still waiting on the dealer, so I'll have to live with envy for the short time being. I hate you - you cruel, cruel little person! :D Enjoy it!

there's double sided tape and screws....the screws hold them in place, but allow them to pivot. You then tape them in place. Just watch your alignment. I had to remove the tape on that crooked one, so I'm gonna have to see how I want to hold that one in place. I wonder if Dentyne Ice works!?!?

I'm gonna keep these photos in one thread.....so it might pop up every now and again.......
How 'bout Miami Beach in December...no snow tires needed!!!
and yes, I did finally break the adhesive on the driver's side and straightened out that bottom strake. So next time I'm in a cool place to snap a photo (I HATE PARKING LOT SHOTS!!!!!) you'll see the strate strake ate.
