BTW, if I could drive any of the cars in that list, it'd be the Ford RS2000. That's an insane vehicle.

I started this here because of the video just in case anyone ask. I'll do a search on the comparions depending on the future post of this thread.

The M3 would destroy (well, beat pretty handily) the RX8 in a lot of different tracks. The Z would probably win in a fair number of tracks too. The 8 handles very well though so the more twisties in the track the better it'll perform in relation. Heck the Neon SRT4 will beat the 8 in tracks with mostly straights. The track they use for TopGear just happens to be one the 8 is good at.
So yeah... take that result with a grain of salt.

And just happen that in real life, there are alot more turns and traffics than empty straightaways.
I thought the TopGear had 3 decent very sharp turns and a long straightaway which is pretty long (they managed to do 300kmh+ on a Zonda and Koenigsegg there.
That is a much better judge of a cars performance than say your Nascar or the Nardo track.
Extremely wide turns designed to bleed the least amount of speed...
Another track you should look at is the Nurburgring, that is a true judge of the cars potential as much as drivers skill, none of that stupid fast and furious red light straightline draggies...

Thats cool, thats actually the first time I've seen the map of the Top Gear track. Why have people been bashing the 8 saying it has the same times only because of all the turns? Looks to me like there are two pretty good straights aways on there. Hopefully this will shut some of the people up!

Its always easier to bash then to do research, thats why they do it.
