"fender bender"
i was just involved in a minor accident, minor as in i am ok, but my car is trashed. The guy who rear-ended me was a tow truck driver as he was towing another car. Thing is he does't have insurance on the tow truck. He received a citation for no insurance, thats it. And now, i have to pay a minimum $250 deductible plus a little for the rental because all they had was an 09 Silverado. That and i'll be without my car for what they said 14-21 days. Any suggestions from anyone on what I could do would be extremely appreciated.

At the least, small claims court for your deductible and out of pocket costs. You might want to start with a letter from your lawyer, and escalate to court if he doesn't pay. Seeing a lawyer in your area should be free for the initial consultation. Don't put it off....
This assumes that you are 0% at fault for the accident and/or your insurer is going after him for the repair. Check with your insurer that you will not be penalized in the future because of this incident, because the guy is uninsured.
Glad you're ok.

I have done everything but talk to a lawyer, that was the main thing i was concerned with on if i should. My insurance recognized I was not at fault so everything will stay the same after everything settles. This just happened today, so i'll talk to a lawyer asap, thanks

I zoom therefore I am.
I would talk to the tow truck driver and give him the option of giving you 500 bucks cash... otherwise tell him you'll be taking him to court for 4 times that number.

since you mention you had to pay deductable I assume you have full coverage and if he doesn't have insurance your UM should cover it and preium is not going to rise which is good news plus you should start feeling pain in your neck and arm and back to claim your medical.
