Thanks for the response.
What do you mean by "had some trouble matching it perfect but finally got it"? Did you have to return a set of mirrors before you got a set that matched?

Did the b&b midpipe make the car too loud? Why are you selling it?
Yeah the mirrors had to be painted twice bc the first time they didnt match correctly. Second time was perfect though.

my wife didn't like it, said it was too loud for everyday driving. not sure how it would sound with your racing beat. B&B makes a pretty loud exhaust by itself.

the mirrors were not painted by vivid racing, but a shop nearby. They could not get a perfect match so just purchased the exact paint from the dealer. Supposedly, our silver color is the same color as a silver dodge viper... anyone ever heard this? Supposed to be the exact same color. Anyway ill just say total was under $600.
I might be interested in that B&B midpipe... as far as performance gains go, what did you gain from personal experience? Thanks.

B&B rates this pipe at around a 5 HP increase over stock. it was pretty hard to feel the difference, it did seem to pull a little harder going into 2nd gear.

this midpipe retails for $270 at vivid racing, and i am including all of the hardware i had to buy after recieving it from them (nuts, bolts, gasket). the install is very easy it took me less than an hour. $195 is a great price and since you live in houston you don't pay any shipping.

A couple of thoughts. They're are a number of brandnames out there. Many, but not all, use 3M film. And I believe, but am not sure, that brands differ in the thickness of the film used. In my experience, you pay for quality. I have "Stongard" on two vehicles and have been very impressed.
Brands also differ in terms of the "fit" of the template used. Again, you get what you pay for in my experience. A kit with more individual pieces is easier to install; a kit with fewer pieces usually looks better. Any kit that must be "trimmed" to fit isn't worth a dime, imho. Door guards and headlight protection is often optional. Likewise, the amount of coverage varies by brands.
You will find that the color of the car affects the visibility of the bra. It's least noticeable in light colors, more visible in darker colors. Even in dark colors, however, (mine is Nordic Green), the bra is almost invisible. On my silver Saab 9-5 it's even less noticeable.
You can purchase a kit and install it yourself and save a few bucks. From what I've heard, it's not too difficult. However, in my case the difference in price was only about $100 for the install. Not worth my time or the risk of messing it up. YMMV.
