What's your favorite car? So far, out of the ones I have bought it's the Lotus Elise 113. So sweet. And super sharp in black. Also, has anyone got one of the top 100 fastest times on a track? Pretty sweet that they record your race and your car setup so that others can watch and use your setup for the race. I love this game. My girlfriend does not.

Two thumbs way up for the wheel. I don't have Xbox Live, might check into it but the wheel brings a whole new aspect to the game. Once you get it tuned the way you like it is awesome and so much better then using a controller. Alot easier to do with the car what you want, although its expensive but for those who are really into the game i highly recommend it. Not sure, but i am willing to bet the price drops. i don't think the wheel will sell like hotcakes considering its more then the Xbox system right now so if you see a deal grab this thing...

BMCC, if you really like this game, go for Live as well. You should have 2 months free from purchasing the game, so put that to use. I never thought I'd enjoy the online mode as much as I do, but it's amazing how it opens up a whole new side to the game. I'm still not sure I'm going to keep it since this is the only game I use it for, but I've got to admit that it's really worth it if you like this game.
By the way, does anyone know why I can never invite friends to race? Do I have to be the host of the room or something before I can invite others?

Wow, it's a lot more exciting racing online. Sometimes, however, I want to explode. Every so often some asshat just runs into everyone and ruins my day!!
How does this EOL thing work? Mine always goes up, should it be going down? I have raced about 20 races and finished top 3 in 12 I think. Is this not good?
Rhawb, I added you to my freinds list.

As for the EOL thing, I just figured out that having a higher number is better after looking at the overall rankings, so it's actually supposed to go up. I think last I checked I was 1,323 or something. Your actual overall ranking is different from you EOL, which is more of a score that determines your ranking.
I got your friend request and I should be on to race around 11 or 12 tonight (eastern), assuming the parents go to bed at their usual time. I just got myself a headset so I'm dying to try it out. :D

I say we try and get everyone together for a race sometime tonight or tomorrow. I should be able to do it after 11 (eastern) or so no matter what. If you need to do it earlier, let me know and I'll try and talk my parents out of the tv for the night.
Nurburgring with RX8s, anyone?

I just need to add PPHead - I'll do that before I get online. I guess I'll make the room at around 11:15 eastern and invite everyone that's online at that time. Unfortunately not everyone can fit, since only 8 can race at once, so we may need two rooms. I guess I'll make a post here if I can't fit everyone in.

I found that you don't really need to add anyone to your freinds list. The car club has a memebers list so you can invite from there, I think.
On another note, whats the deal with the headset? I have been kicked out of two races because I don't have one . So, clearly, I need one. Is it more for the subscription? Which headset should I buy? I noticed there are a few. Plus this will allow me to yell at bad drivers.
On another note, I consider myself a fairly respectful driver. I often look over my shoulder to make sure nobody has a line and I don't smash into them. Or, I concede the line if I feel they have taken it. As well, I don't try my hardest just to get my car back on the track at the expense of people who used the brakes to take the corner. I don't really see many others do this, everyone just puts there car where they want it too be, even when simulation damage is on. A little frustrating at times, though I have heard some people say thanks when I give up the line instead of just smashing into them
Anyway, I'll try to make it online around 11. I have some work to do and a new girly who requires some phone time tonight

Well, having the friends list is useful because your friends will transfer over to other games as well. The car club list is Forza only.
As for the headset, I bought the official XBox one and it's great - runs around $30, but has clear sound and a decent mic.
I was looking at your stats earlier and you and I seem to be pretty even with our ELO ranking, so we'll probably have a pretty good race. I race just like you do unless I'm racing someone who is putting up a really close fight, then I'll start taking a defensive line into corners. I don't cut them off, I just make sure that they're going to be passing me on the outside if they're going to be passing at all. Hope to see ya in the race later! :D

I'll be on in a couple minutes, just waiting for the parents to vacate the tv so I can use the xbox. Can't wait till I'm back in Orlando when I can just play any time.
