Going out with a bang!
OK so I put my car up for sale on ebay and here and a couple places locally.. but I thought I would share these pics with all the minor mods I did to it. Check this link if you want to see the supersize pics (don't know how to get past the file size limit here): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...5987&rd=1&rd=1
I'll try to post some pics of the NSX after I get it cleaned up too... hope you enjoy these... Even after a few years the paint still looks like glass!

jeez you guys, the NSX is a classic. id love to have one. good luck!
however... some points are valid. it is a little pricey and definitely underpowered. however, you cannot say the handling is mediocre. its handling was superior to much of its time. unfortunately, the S2000 has a lot of potential now to kill it. like i said, in its time... and finally, it is still a very stunning and beautiful car.

There's a reason..
why the NSX doesn't depreciate much and RX-8's are going for half their value after only 4 years and will not be a modern classic. The NSX is special, like the FD. The 8 does many things wonderfully... just like a 3 series BMW. Which, to me is it's greatest weakness (except that the bimmer is just ubiquitous, at least the 8 has character). This happens all the time in design... the more things you try and accomplish, the more you have to compromise and the weaker your results. You lose focus and you lose the X-factor, and the strongest design work is always measured in those two things. This may not be everything, but to me and apparently many others it's the most precious thing --and it's the reason the nsx seems "overpriced" today... but has enduring value. This is the second biggest purchase in most people's lives... I say buy with your heart, but pay with your mind!
Underpowered? I paid more for the RX-8 and got less power. And now it's worth half what I paid for it. Frustrating when it comes time to sell! I know friends that have had NSX's and are selling them for more than they paid. You basically get to drive it for free... gotta look at life cycle costs. (my nsx is a pristine '95)
Mediocre handling? I have actually thought a lot about this.. after I put on my springs the RX8 was transformed, and it delighted with a smile. When I got my NSX it had stock wheels and tires, and I felt more comfortable pushing the RX8... until I got new rear tires for the nsx! The 8 feels lighter and more comfortable, and is easy to drive fast while the nsx needs a little more work and concentration, but it's actual abilities far outshine the 8. Mine does have type R suspension though... The handling is the best thing about the RX8 IMO, maybe when they put it into an RX7 package I can fall back in love...
And finally... not impressive?? First of all, I didn't buy either of these cars to impress anyone, I would have bought a european luxo something or other and put 24's on it if that was a priority... BUT, I can tell you the NSX is an attention magnet in a way only a car with exotic proportions can be. It makes children smile and point, and connects with that same side in adults. It's wild in it's disregard for the mundane in a way that is remarkable... yet it's my daily driver and fulfills all those duties as well. For where I am in life, it's everything I need and nothing I don't... which makes it my everything! LOL, who needs a gf!
I'll try to get a pic of both side by side, and we can take a poll to see how many hearts lurch for each... even in this hostile environment Big!

p.s. I would not pay 90k for an NSX, in that price range it is OVERpriced... in a way. Bottom line is for that kind of car, there is no alternative to an NSX... I think they should be 60k-70k new, like they were in 1990 when released. But if you look at the values of 2005 models with very low miles, its around 70-75 which is pretty much right there... Definitely needs more power, but when you buy a car you buy a package, which to me is still very compelling in an NSX.
