When I'm reading what someone has written online, the only measure of their intelligence that is readily available to me is how well they write. If I can't understand what they're saying due to bad grammar or spelling, thus making them totally incoherent, I'll basically disregard anything they've said.

So the whole "I dun writ gud, so what?" counter-argument is just BS.
