I like MS3's. A friend of mine has one that is putting down over 270-whp and 315 wheel-torque with bolt-ons.
Unfortunately, it's wrong-wheel-drive, if you want to make much more power than 300 you need to pull the motor, and the aftermarket hasn't (surprisingly) embraced it, as much as they did say, the SRT-4.

I had a white Mazdaspeed3 GT on order when I bought my 8. The 8 was a good bit cheaper and my Speed3 was taking too long to get here. Sometime I regret getting the 8 because of the mpg's. With the Cobb Accessport Speed3 guys are getting high 30's on the highway and averaging 30mpg all while making more power than stock.
