Good-Bye to my RX-8

So today my car begins its journey to an island in the middle of the pacific. I seriously am not going to be able to get any sleep until i get her back. Actually, once i hear she's on the boat in long beach and headed to honolulu, i'll be able to get some rest. But I definetely will not be complete until i get her back.

Here are the pics of her last day in Texas.
1 - Theres a lot of pics of the spoiler because I just got it finally installed today. For anyone who's been following my spoiler saga... after over 7 months its finally on the car. AND ITS NICE!!!!

2 - I can finally show my license plates on a public forum. HEHEHE, not like anyone can search it down now to jack the car. ITS GONE!!!

3 - Typing this is going to make me cry. I WANT MY CAR BACK!!!!

Here's Peter. He's the one locally that did most of the original install work on my car.. turbo kit, etc... I swung by his shop today to get an oil change before I left. If anyone in the D/FW area is looking for a great mechanic... look him up.

adios amigo, adios my friend, i'm sure it'll have a safe trip

EDIT: i'm going for a guess as to why the turbo is gone, you have to reinspect the vehicle in honolulu?

Yeah, I'm moving to Hawaii for "grad school". LOL... actually I am seriously going there for the school's MBA program. The facts that its in Hawaii is just a huge added bonus.

Oh, i just said that because I'll be without the power of the Rotary Turbo for like 3 weeks... 3 WEEKS WITH NO BOOST!!!!
Oh, and Hawaii actually has no emmisions check... which is great because i have no cat

Watching him put it on the truck almost gave me like 3 seperate heart attacks. Luckily the springs were somewhat uncompressed from changing the wheels so often this year (2 or 3 times a month for autocrossing on the weekends). I measured the car before he put it on and it came to 5.5" off the ground. After he tightened the car down tho.. it got REAL LOW. hopefully it'll be able to get on the ship in cali
*crosses fingers*

If not.. i'm going to have to extend my layover in LA so i have enough time to get to the port in long beach, jack up the car, and fit those god for saken coil spacers in.
