what's the cost for shipping? Sounds like a painful ordeal, don't know what I would do if I had to ship my car...

Its more nerve racking than expensive.
Getting it transported to cali was 600, but having it shipped over to hawaii was actually only $1000. Not bad, IMO. Much better than selling the car and loosing all i put into it.

Well, look on the bright side, a little time apart will make you appreciate your 8 even more when you are finally reunited. I know I've said this before, but I have to say it again... I LUST after your wheels! I've gotta get a set of those.

Make sure you video-tape yourself becoming the Hawaii Touge Monster! You're gonna have some stiff competition...I heard those mountain bikers are pretty quick around the banks.

Best of luck and safe travels to you and the car.

Eeek! Those car haulers always make me nervous, regardless of who's car is on it. 3 inches of clearance is NOT enough!!!! Anyway have fun at school....... your car looks awesome!

My friends have already started taking bets on how fast i wreck my car off the side of a mountain. As much as I hate street racing, the fact that there is no legalized racing in hawaii really limits are options. The last thing i ever plan to do is wheel-to-wheel mountain runs. The only thing that really interests me is doing timed runs... alone, and just trying to improve myself by using myself as the bar.

What school are you going to for your MBA and what program? I'm looking at a bunch of places as well and the University of Hawaii is on my list.
