Plus, there are plenty of opinionated pros/cons to each car as well. Appearance, interior design, comfort, interior space etc.

The Z's shifter feels hustled when trying to shift fast, and It felt like a baseball in my hand when I drove my friends... Idk it felt fast and heavy steering, but would hold into a corner when set but nowhere as agile as an 8. I find it amusing that the Z weighs more than the 8 but only holds 2 people.
Mazda's sticks are known to be very good, sadly the 8's tranny isnt the best but it isnt exactly horrible

350's scare me. a buddy of mine bought one and we were driving back to ms, taking our sweet time at like one twenty or so.. and this lady whips in front of us. i STOOD on the brakes. and it just kept going. Next week, big brake kit. then i didn't mind it so much

Congrats on the car!
Here's a Top Gear video about the 350z not many people have probably seen.

On appearance, IMO i think the 8 wins. The 350z is so heavy. I would have gone for a g35 over the 350 since its basically the same car just lighter with a nicer interior. But in the end, as long as you like it and are happy with it, regardless of the car, that's all that counts!

Lol didn't he say the RX-8 was one of the best cars he drove that year when he reviewed it?
My big problem with the Z was how it has 0 practicality. No rear seats and no cargo space with that giant bar in the back.

RX8 and a Truk....
"out of all the cars I've driven this year, I'm pretty sure, this one...is the best"
Jeremy Clarkson - on the RX8.
Later he recanted a bit - he spoke of the terrible OEM tires in the rain. BUT - he liked the 8 MUCH better than the Z.
to the OP: Congrats!
