thanks for the comment Terence and chrism. i think the pics look pretty cool with the backdrops, just which i had some skills to actually take some decent pics.

i know how you feel....i have the locations, i have the visions but both my camera and my skillset suck when shooting.....not that yours suck but im sure we can both use help

i wish i lived on the east coast with that type of scenery to shoot.

the car looks good, and i know i sound like a broken record in all these threads, but never shoot in broad daylight. bright light will just wash it out and look blown out in areas, not to mention the distracting shadows. you want the moody lighting of early morning, late afternoon, or cloudy days. it'll bring out the colors and details alot better. keep shooting and learning!

just try to keep the lighting consistent and focus on the subject(the car). the backdrop should be an afterthought, but as long as the car is either completely in the shadows or completely in the sunlight at dawn or dusk, your pics will come out much better.


btw what front bumper is that? very clean.

thanks brian, i will try again with some pics if we have another nice day. but my front bumper is the Autobahn front, its my favorite front for the rx8 and i get tons of compliments on it! thanks

thanks nightracer i like the pic i just wish i had some photography skills like you, you could send me one of those gorgeous models you have to use to take pics with my car. ha ha
