Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
So I don't know if we have any gamers out there or not (but I am guessing there's got to be a few) - but for us lucky PS3 owners, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue hit the shelves today and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
I think I will probably start my career with an RX-8 - though it does seem pretty silly to drive it in a video game when I have a real one out in my parking lot!
Any other GT fans out there?

I have to wait till the end of this month. I'm half way there as I sold my 360 now I just need to pick up a PS3. Unfortunately the resale value of a 360 is as bad as the RX-8's. I'll be ready to race online whenever I get everything set up.

The North America version is an updated version of the original japanese release. I ordered mine from WalMart with the Logitech racing wheel (not the g25) and it's supposed to ship today, but it still says "processing"
I wondered about the release date also. I think the disc is released today (or shipped today) and they begin selling it at the Playstation Store on 4/17.
Man, I can't wait. I played the older versions a couple of times, but I'm really looking forward to testing out my recently purchased PS3.

Played a few races online tonight...there are quite a few people who races with an 8. I actually had an Evo all night because I was in process to beat event "B" AWD and was too lazy to switch. Fun times on GT!

I've pretty much given up - some of these tasks are just preposterous and I've no room for video games that frustrate me past the point on enjoying them.
I sometimes pop the game in for a few online races - though it seems lately my 15 MB/s connection isn't fast enough or something, because it struggles to connect most times. Of course, most people online drive like drunken chimps too.
I'm still excited for the full version of the game, presuming it ever sees the light of day, but I'm pretty much done w/ Prologue for now.

for me, im pretty much done with S class. I only have like 2 race events. Cars i use is Amuse 2k,
Gran Turismo Ford GT Concept,
ferrai 599
and Mines R34.
But since i do alot of drift trials, i havent gone back and do the last 2 races. i guess this weekend ill should. also play on professinal mode, with no traction, no abs, no assist steering.
yep, once you finished Class A, B, C you will get into class s after the ending movie is done. Only thing you can do is pretty much is , weight reduction and increase, HP decrease or increase, camber settings, down force settings, Gear ration settings and that is prett much it.
can't wait for the full version when they have the parts shop back in the game.
also i think ppl at the GT forums are pretty pissed because JGTC Amemiya Rx7 was suppose to make it to the game. but recently they have a new sponsor, which is probably why it did not make it to the car line up for prologue.

I found the game to be pretty fun. I am playing with the g25...I played it on pro until s class. It was almost impossilbe for me to beat some of the s class race on pro physic.
btw the R8 handles so good in the game.....
