Try launching at 5500RPM and it's better to spin then have alot of wheel hop but not alot of spin let out a little in the throttle when you feel it spin, but not all the way, then goose it again. Try letting the clutch out enough to engage and then letting it out the rest of the way, it's an alternative to dumping it.

Horse--have you taken yours to the track? Or are you show car only? Greddy Turbo + Nitrous--you should be very close to the 12s?

I am still installing the Turbo I have to wait till wednesday to get a new O2 sensor to replace the one I stripped out during the install, those suckers just don't want to come out. This weekend I will have some times for you, probally just 1/8th mile because it is two hours to the nearest 1/4 mile. They had an event Saturday there and I was hoping to make it there but no luck w/o the O2 sensor.

I launch at 4k-5k rpm and try to feathered it until I could get traction.

Cool site, searched for times on 8's that were 14.8 and less, results here.

Noticed the petit supercharger ran a 14.1 (but they've got 19's also). How can you tell the 14.2 time is from a stock 8?

Go to the bottom of the guy's page after all the fields he left blank, and you will notice he has written "stock"

Ok,so that explains it...... The slow speed.

A dip in the track and 19" wheels.

i would expect for 3200 plus install to get 60 RWP you could get better that a 4 tenths of a reduction in 1/4 mile.

Lets see the run in the good track.

HP will help one's trap speed - becoming a better driver will help one's 1/4 e/t.

I'd love to have seen your 1/4 mile trap speed; based on your 1/8 mile trap, I'm thinking right around 100mph. What was the trap on your 15.0 run, Adrian?

Cool vid!

Light AND cheap is hard to find. I was looking at the 17x8 kosei k-1 TS wheels on tirerack for $239 each with 245/45's Azenis Rt615 from edgeracing.com which are $160 each. For a total of $1600 this will be a big purchase that I will only use for autox and drag racing.

It looks like I won't be able to make it to San Antonio Raceway tonight. I've got to work overtime. The next available day I can go is June 8th, I'll take the camcorder and post videos after I go.

lol--I think Judge Ito's 'stock' 8 was in the 13s. What ever happened to that saga--did they uncover the secret?

I've got the sport pkg with huge brakes. I believe the smallest I can go is 17" wheels.
