Green w/ Yellow Calipers!

Green w/ Yellow Calipers!
Well here she is. I finally got them done, took way longer then I was planning due to the fact that the caliper paint was so thin. I think they turned out good, and once I can get some gunmetal wheels it will really stand out. I don't know how to post the thumbnails, but here are the links;

Looks good man, I was just thinking about that combo a few days ago.
Now jump in your car and clean the rust of those rotors
Oh by the way, green and yellow are not clashing colours. They are side by side on the colour wheel. Clashing colours are opposite of each other on the wheel.

Cobalt_RX, nicely done. Now you need to do the wheels! Here's a shot or two of a few Lotus in those famous racing colours from the 60s (Jim Clark's World Championship winning cars), and a certain Miata with an homage-to-Lotus colour theme (note the calipers! ):

Gordon

Let them be gord, we are better off without them....Have your red calipers...all of you!! Miata looks good man, maybe not some peoples cup of tea, but I was born a brit, and I will be damned if I don't appreciate a nice green car!

Gord beat me to it. Lotus would have something to say to any uneducated, snively little child who said those colors clashed or that they were John Deer colors. Those are classic sports car colors to anyone who doesn't secretly fantasize about putting a couple of coffee can mufflers on their 8.

Kids today don't know what they're missing. How about the powder blue and orange Gulf Porsche 917 Le Mans cars? Or the Ferrari 512's? And the fabulous Jim Hall Chaparal's? Not to forget the beautiful McLaren Can Am cars. Teams were more personal and individualized; now it seems they're mostly corporate owned. There are some cool looking cars today too, don't get me wrong, but I have very fond memories of watching XKE Jags and Corvettes and Cobras going at it on racetracks in Southern California.
That British Racing Green Miata pic you posted was great.

WOW, thanks for all the comments both good and bad. Yeah the center caps didn't turn out very well. Do you think it would help if I did the rest of the center cap or just try to get some new ones? The wheels will really set it off.

I say get new ones and then leave them alone.... they don't need to be painted.
Calipers look good though.
