The trunk lip is standard in Europe. We also have the reflecting rotary symbol at the backside and the white lights (I don't know how you call it in English) at the front (to show where you are going). Apparently there are lots of differences between the USA models and the European models.
By the way, great car. Ordered mine just like that, but still waiting. Delivery on the 18 th of May.

Very nice, very clean looking, nice wheels, nice exhaust, what is that exhaust system? Are the tires stock size? They don't look it. I like them very much. :D

Harakiri,
Which eibach springs do you have installed?
Eibach prokit springs (are black in colour) OR
Eibach sports springs(coloured red ?)
The drop looks just right.
Your reply would be appreciated as I am interested in the eibach springs especially the prokit.
regards
Rexi

Nokia carkit in Rx-8
Very nice car !!
Does the Nokia-phone sounds trough the 8's speakers ?
If so, only front, or front + rear ?
Which system did you use to do so ?
Does the phone work well in the car ?
How do the springs work with the stock dampers ?
Is the ride much more firmly but still with the necessary comfort ?
Thanks

i have the Eibach pro kit. it is a custom-built from www.ath-hinsberger.de, cause Mazda Europe offers the Eibach pro kit too, but in front only 30 and rear 40(!) mm - it's a terrible sight. the handling is a little bit better than the stock springs, they absorb more sportiv but with the necessary comfort. they work fantastic with the stock dampers, which are gas-filled, at least at the european "Revolution"-model. there are no signs for jolting, a.s.o.
regarding the Nokia-phone you can select at the installation if you wanna use a separate speaker ore the installed stock speakers. if in that case the front ore the rear speakers sounds... - i don't know. i should first read the installation guide, then i will tell you how it works. all i know is, you can install both - original speakers and seperate speakers. in the phone software-menu you can select the output - separate ore stock speakers.
the system sounds very well.
the Bastuck-exhaust is named "Soundmachine" by the manufacturer ATH. You can see it by browsing on his website only if you select german language at the entry-site, cause the system has no approval for USA. anyway you will see more products if you select german language at www.ath-hinsberger.de.
the exhaust-system has more power than the stock (diagramm) and it sounds a little bit more evil, especially from 5000 rpm up to 9000. but the name soundmachine i think it hasn't deserved, it is a little bit over-the-top.
hope i have answered explicitly enough with my bad english
