Streamer Test Air Flow Results

I tested the airflow into the scoop and at the rear of the jacked up hood with taped on streamers (white Teflon tape) and found the nose streamer entered the scoop at about 8 mph and stayed during further acceleration while the rear streamer was sucked into the raised rear, and remained there. I performed 4 trials with an outside (the vehicle) observer. So, it might infer that all air entering through the radiator, scoop, and raised rear lid exit underneath the vehicle. I'm Thrasher above, FYI.

ah, great testing. I was assuming the design was similar to that hood I posted by testing proves my reading wrong. congrats! And the intake might even suck in more air than you can just flow through it.

I am sure it is functional however, the looks is questionable. If the intake is behind the opening then be careful when driving in the rain

skc, you made your small minded, mean, and envious position clear more than enough times. Let it rest. Myself and 100% of all of those who have seen, in person, and commented on the scoop think it to be a thing of beauty, form following function, what should have been from the factory.

Thrasher, I banned the other account. Please stick to one account only.

Also, you are interpreting SKC's comments in a way that I don't understand or see. He dislike them, but he isn't being "small minded" or "mean" at all. In fact, he is being very civil about it, and offering points of consideration to keep in mind in certain driving conditions. Relax a bit. It won't matter what you post, SOMEONE will always dislike it, and post their dislike. If you don't want people to post their opinion, don't post something for people to provide opinions on. SKC isn't even being harsh about his dislike, so there is really nothing to get your fur standing on end.

I am sure you went to a lot of effort and cost for this exercise and we all appreciate you experimenting as it helps us all. In this instance we have a functional scoop that to me spoils the look.

Others may like it as that is great as the world would be a boring place if we were all the same.
