I went today to get it, but blockbuster didnt have it in yet. Instead i got pariah. What a freakin waste... stay away from that game. it is freakin lag-city.

TxRx8, how do you like X-link Kai? I am on XBConnect right now, and that seems to be a halo2 (YES) and tom clancy only game source. Nobody really plays racing games on there.

X-link is the bomb dude! There's tonz of rooms for every type of gamer. The first day I played this game there was 50 users on this game alone! It's also alot more user friendy than XB-connect. See you there!

Hey guys. It seems Forza has come with 2 months of Live for free, so you'll be seeing me on there. I should be listed as Rhawb, but I'll post to confirm that once I actually manage to get everything set up. Great game, but no GT killer yet. I never have the feeling of actually being in very much control of the cars, they seem to be doing their own thing a bit too often.

UPDATE: I went to blockbuster again today, and they still didnt have it. They assured me it would arrive by thursday, at the very latest... Hopefully it shall.
So instead of Forza i ended up getting Midnight Club 3... which blows. Dang thats two bad games in a row now (Pariah, MC3)

shuttup everyone! i dont want to buy this game stop trying to convince me! ill be satisfied with my gt4 and logitech steering wheel! i will not buy this game!!! (will the logitech steering wheel work with xbox? neway to modify it? NO!? then i wont buy it until i beat gt4 which will take 3 years or so -____-)

I just got the game, it's very good.

I really like how you can customize the cars, something that is sorely lacking in GT4. But for all the so called power of the Xbox, GT4 still out does it in graphics department. The cars are rendered about the same as Project Gotham Racing 2, but GT4 has a much more photo-realistic look to the cars.

Heres a hint for yall who just bought the game and are starting out.

When you are ready to choose a car from North America, Europe, or Asia be sure to get a Front Engine Rear Wheel Drive Car. Then go to the Point to Point races and race the FR challenege. Your winning prize will be an Mitsu Evo FQ-330 (330hp AWD).


Pretty much the rest of the game is smooth sailing from there on.

Right now I am at level 16 with 200k CR to waste.

Comments on Forza vs. GT4 - Forza Wins with no challenge. Loading Time is less, GFX are better, you can do "REAL DONUTS", exhaust surrounding/housing turns black due to exhaust, real life body kits.

PS! Dont fully tune the RX8 out! You spin tires around every corner even with TCS & STM on!

I wish I would have read Diabolical's message first. I played for about an hour yesterday and got enough credits to go buy the 8. I put about 15000 CR into it and the car has far too much HP and Torque. Every bend is an adventure. Perhaps I just need to spend more time tweaking the settings. I was doing a burnout in it yesterday and was simply amazed by the realism. The rear rotors start to glow red and braking turns from stop on a dime to stop on a tarmac. Too much fun!

The long in the short of it is -- my girlfriend is going to be mad.

As far as comparing the two games, I can't agree with you on your decision. GT4 has better graphics hands down and, despite the flaws with not being able to do things like donuts, it simulates driving the cars around a racetrack much, much better. Forza does a very good job of simulating the feel of being involved in an actual race (provided you race a similar car) and the customization is about on par with GT. There are cosmetic mods to be had, but they seem to come at the loss of some performance mods. The games are so close that I doubt you're going to be particularly disappointed with either game, but I think GT is a more faithful representation of driving and racing.

Pros & Cons with both games, both are great. I've had GT4 since Jan., since I got it in Japan. So I'm bored with it now, Forza is getting my attention now. BTW, Enthusia for the PS2 is very good too.

As a simulation, I think I'd give Forza a slight edge over GT4. As my son says, how is GT4 the real life simulator? You can smash into a wall at 100 mph and bounce off clean as a whistle. With Forza, you get simulated damage that affects how the car looks and drives.

Although I feel the graphics are better in GT4, the customization of the cars looks with real body kits, custom paint, decals, and car graphics in Forza really appeals to me.

You all make real good points about this game! The photo realism of gt4 catches my eye. But Forza seems more fun to me for some reason. The 8 is almost impossible to drive fully modded! I turned off the all the "helpers" and this thing wont stay on the road! It's a great challenge tho! :D My favorite car so far has to be this Lotus I'm driving. It's light and frigg'n fast! Anyways, I'm glad you all like it and I hope to see you all soon online.

I am having trouble getting K-Link Kai to run. It keeps shutting down, saying there as an error with port forwarding. I am running a very basic network, with no firewalls enabled, and its not wireless. anybody else have this problem?

My XBOX runs fine on XBConnect, but somthing isn't working out with Kai.
