Here's the result!
My car's finished! New wheels (AME Tracer FS-01, 18x9.0 +31mm offset in Hyper Silver... thanks, Rishie [Endless Rotaries] for the amazing deal!.. and I have to acknowledge takahashi j, who I got the wheel/tire combo idea from) and tires (Goodyear F1 Asymmetric, 245x40R18) mounted. Installed them Friday.. Also using McGard SplineDrive lugs.. and TPMS units from RawrX8 lolz.
Pardon the pics (also ignore the big fender gap in some pics as the car didn't settle fully when I took em).. Hopefully a friend can help me do a semi-photoshoot one day. I drove around (didn't push much in the corners since new tires are a little skittish), and I must say the ride is amazing with these tires compared with the OEM Dunlops. There is a little rubbing in the rear on choppy roads, so I'll have the fenders rolled a bit next.
Used a wire brush (really meant for BBQ grills, in fact LOL) to clean the hub bolts
I think my neighbor with the Camaro hates me now .. serves them right for copying our OEM wheel design!
I love these lugs! Absolutely no contact with the wheel from the tools, which gave me plenty of clearance. The bottom portion also stops spinning when it makes contact with the wheel so it protects it too.
Stock (225) vs New (245)
Measured weight on digital scale.. stock = 47 lbs.. new = 49 lbs.
OEM vs new lugs.
Car didn't fully settle after raising it, so ignore the fender gap
After car was washed..

Perfect! Once you drop that thing, its gonna look ridiculous. Very good job!
In my head, I imagine that combo with maybe the Mazdaspeed sides to make it look slightly more aggressive when lowered. Either way...good stuff and unique look. What recession!??!

LOL actually it already is lowered with Racing Beat springs, which I'm very happy with (looked high in the pics because car was jacked up and I took pics right after.. aka. before driving it around) :P.. and no more mods for me.. family savings start now .. this was the grand finale in a way.

I realized I had more pics I was holding back until everything was put in.. here they are:
Playstation wheel looks so small.. I was planning on using my Zaino arsenal on the wheels, but ended up just using Zaino Clear Seal.
My room looked like this for 2 weeks as everything was being prepped
Bonus My pet, Chinchie.. who is probably thinking about chewing the wheel
