This is in Cantonese, most possibly written by a Hong Kong native.
Loose translation...by me.
A few months ago I got wind of this long Ferrari. The owner must have felt that a two-seater would be too small, so had it modified inton eight-seater Ferrari 360, measuring 6.09 meters long and all bucket seats. Initially I thought this must have been a result of Photoshop, later on I was able to uncover a video clip on YouTube, which made it all the more believeable! Apparently there were also news in the past few days that the owners had actually asked British Ferrari whether the car can be modifed to such an extent, prior to extending the car. The reply was a positive one. After modifing the car, however, a letter from a lawyer engaged by Ferrari ordered the removal of all Ferrari emblems off the car within 14 days. My opinion is that the car is still distinctively a Ferrari that even with the removal of the emblems, so what's the point in that?

Even after the elongation of the car, the top speed can still be kept at 265km/hr which isn't too bad at all.

If Ferrari wants the badges off, they can pay him for them. I assume what he paid for the badges is reasonable. So lets see a Ferrari 360, is a less of a performer than a C6, but has a nicer interior, lets call it even.
2004 Ferrari 360 retail is $150k
2005 Corvette C6 retail is $45k
So if Ferrari will kindly send him a check for $105k, they can have their little horsey badges back.
LOL

what a ghastly abomination. shameful. I died a little inside just looking at that . . . thing.
If it's a personal limo Ferrari can F-off. If he intends to make any money off that thing then Ferrari is right - he would be trying to make money off their brand and should not be allowed to do so.

Oh I dont know about that but I do know its buy two (as in payed off) introduction cars (F430 F450) then you get a invite to a Enzo. After all its named after "The man" Enzo Ferrari Now this just might be like how Ducati owns the word "Superbike" and no one can use that in any way shape or form when talking about there bike. Thats why he prob got sued lol
