Happy ending! (My post hail damage triumph)
A few of you may remember this thread:

Well now I have gotten the car back and I took some pictures at tonight's monthly TexasRxs meeting. We had a great turnout and some good barbeque to boot! The car came out great, few minor glitches here and there as per usual but it looked fabulous, even after being drizzled on earlier this afternoon. The damage total crept over the 9,000 dollar mark, but I did manage to get shaved emblems out of the deal for super cheap. We also had some visitors from the Lotus club, so I snapped a shot of the Elan parked by some of our member's rides. All in all it was a nice evening and I was so stoked to have my car back We had 4 different generations of rotaries there and some new faces as well. Check out our site at www.texasrxs.org and our yahoo group at austintexasrxs if you're ever in town and want to hang with some fellow rotorheads, heck, if you live in Austin you have no excuse! get your butt out and go drvin'/eating/whatever with us! The first 2 pics were from last weekend, the rest are from this evening.....

Got hailed too :(
Hopefully my outcome will be similar to yours. We got hailed on hard in south central area of Nebraska, dents on all parts of my 8, windows intact though. Still waiting on an adjuster to look at the damage. My dents are much deeper than yours was, not sure if it will come out as good.. we'll see.
I'm surprised that my windows show no sign of damage, because the other cars in the lot had broken windshields and some had the back blown out. Pretty strong glass!
I had it for 4 months and already hail damage, sigh! :\

the parts where the dents are pretty deep can probably be replaced, they replaced ALOT of panels on my car as a lot of them were damaged so badly to pull dents out would have taken months. My windows survived too along with my mirrors, other cars lost mirrors but I'm not sure of any that had broken glass. I think a lot of the reason my glass (and others) survived was due to the high winds that were occuring the night it all happened, from looking at the damage around the vehicle you could kinda' tell it was getting hammered at an angle, if the same stuff would have come down straight down without the winds throwing it sideways there's no telling how much worse it would have been, and it was over 9 grand bad after everything was finished.
edit: make sure you take it to a reputable shop, the guys who fixed mine did such an excellent job the car looks better than new, the quality of the finish is remarkable. My car never stops shining now, even when it's a little dirty it still looks like I just cleaned it, it's like nothing I've ever seen
