Hello... Meet White Lighting :)

Hey guys, Got the car back from the Body shop... Came out great... Sorry the pics aren the greatest, its not really "picture" weather right now.... Will get nice scenery pics up soon.

Next up, R-Magic Lip Spoiler, and finally install my system.. (im dying with the stock bose).. And Greddy SP-2. (the maz-speed diffuser makes the stock exhaust look so puny...

I just got my recall letter on her... I only had it for a month (1200 KM's only) so it goes into the shop for flah and possible engine replacement next week....

Anyways Enjoy! Hope you guys like her....

Thanks bro, Yeah the VIS Kits are pretty good... Had minimal work to do to make it fit right.... The biggest problem spot I see is around the side markers. It looks fine but i really am picky about body work... It needs to be grounded away a bit more to make the lights fit a bit more flush... I will take pics to show, its not noticable in any way.. But I want to get it as good as i can get it.

The body shop is a good one, good guys and duplicolor chromicolor was used on the car, I havent seen any orange peel (or felt it) and I looked through the car thoroughly...

Im doing my custom stereo after I get the car back from Mazda, I will post pics of it when Im done.

after looking at these pics again, boy do i need that exhaust! lol!

Yuppers HP EVO 19 x 9.5 in the rear (38 offset) and 19 x 8.5 Front (35 offset)

I just bought the Greddy SP2 catback from Ebay, It will get here next week. I will post pics when i install it.

The fitments good... It was just the rear diffuser that came with the VIS Kit, But I got them to mold it onto the rear bumper as the 1 piece look, looked better than the regular diffuser add on.

The fitment is great on the kit, only few small issues, mainly around the side markers, but it wasnt a problem as it just needed to be grinded down a bit... other than that... plug and play pretty much... the sides were urethaned on... I would say if you get a replica get a good shop to do it, or it just wont line up well.

I paid 1000 CDN for the paint and install.. So i expected nothing less of them. I figured I'd pay the extra money to get it done properly.... and for them to use good paint on the car.

in total the kit and the paint costed 1500 CDN, around 1300 usd....

Thanks for replies

I dont think i can justify spending almost 4 grand canadian for the Real deal.... To me its just not worth it.... For the few years I have the car... I think the replica will do....

If i were to keep the car for a long time, Id probably invest in the real thing, but for the 4-5 years ima keep the car, Its not worth it...... But it'd be sweet if i had the real thing...

PS: I was thinking... carbon Evo-R Spoiler? Or white?? what you guys think? My calipers are black, the vents are black and the tints black... think the carbon spoiler will look out of place on the white?

The kit looks pretty good all white. I also like the way the car looks without the spoiler. If you do get one, you should keep it white.

Some of you were requesting more side shots and pics of the rims... I took pics of my new exhaust but it didnt turn out well.. It was a bit blurry... But in one or 2 of the pics you can see it slightly...

Wow man. You're an inspiration to whitewaters everywhere. The car is gorgeous as is. Spend some money on performance upgrades rather than a rear wing. CAI, lightweight flywheel, high performence clutch, etc..

Just curious- where'd you buy the wheels and kit? I was looking at similar-styled rims recently, and I really like those.

Hey thanks for the nice words...

Im going to buy the AEM Intake over the summer, I put on the Magnaflow cat back a few days ago. But i dont think I want to go any further than that... Im afraid my warranty may be void if i really get into the mechanics of the car....

Im going to leave it "wing-less" for now.... Until i get the urge... lol.
as for the wheels, I actually got a real good deal on em... i paid 780 Shipped to me in canada for em... they have brand new Kumho 712's on the back and used 712's upfront, (I gotta change the fronts over the summer, but i still got some decent tread left on em)

I was eyeballing these particular rims from even before I bough the car, I think RX's look great with mesh wheels.... a few close friends had some FD's with similar wheels and I loved em.... It suits the cars sportiness, and isnt too blingy if you know what i mean....

They are from HP design, I believe their called EVO or Lighting i forget which on. they are a pretty common, shouldnt be hard to find em on ebay etc....
