Hey guys, Just joined the rx8 club with my new purchase of one yesterday =)

Hows it going guys!

Just purchased my rx8 yesterday, last 07' any local dealers had in stock that was 6mt. Its midnight blue. Love it i test drove this and the 350z and this feels so much more comfortable, the power wasn't as beastly as the 350 but its still an untamed animal.

I plan on putting lightweight racing wheel on it, 18 front, 19 rear. Leaning towards black axis with a backing blue lip? Also getting exhaust, intake, ecu.. for now. and some cosmetics. By summer time if the mazda feels like itll hold up throwing the greddy ultimate turbo in that b*tch!

But for now, enjoy the pics!

On the sticker it was actually called mica blue. Midnight blue sounds more precise.

Two things you need to do:

Remove that dam dealer badge... Surely you don't want a dealer advert on your bumper... I'm surprised they had the ***** to glue that **** on somebody's future 8..

And tint the windows..

//Lots of Chevys around Houston have "Gay" decaled on the back.. Some dealers last name I suppose.. That's pretty much worse than any other dealer logo I've seen so far..

LOL... I know the thing is huge, that wasn't on there when i looked at the car they must of stuck that on there after i purchased it. haha Thats already off. As for tints, thats going to be soon as well, and along with some other small mods, but what should i do performance wise right off the bat

for an intake you might wanna keep it stock cause it probably makes the most power than all the aftermarket intakes, but if you still wanna go aftermarket i would suggest either

-ms cold air intake
-K&N drop in filter with stock modified intake
-racing beat ram air with air duct

all other intakes are obsolete compared to those 3 listed above. Don't expect huge power gains out of any of them

iirc - it's stormy blue mica, no? not like it matters - it's hawt regardless of word order!

It's true - most upgrades will cost $300+ at a minimum, but will only provide single digit gains.

congrats, and enjoy!

If you wanna mod... there are sticky threads. Search Intakes, Intakes, Intakes, or Exhausts, Exhausts, Exhausts.

if i were you, i would try to take that dealer decal off the back.
