That makes 2 years in a row then. They screwed us last year too although after a conversation with the owner things got straightened out. I wonder if laughing boy was running the entrance again as that would definitely explain your problems. At least Sevenstock is around the corner

Hey Easy. Got a question for you man. Was HIN sponsorship and advertising only handled locally or is it part corporate? I mean not just getting you guys in but the advertising, banners, etc. If it's handled on a corporate level I would be happy to right a letter about how poorly we were treated last year. Avondale should definitely raise some hell. I'm very curious to know how there conversation went with the HIN organizers and what if any restitution they received considering the amount of money and help they put up for the event. I'm sure they thought of it already, after this experience, but it looks like contracts with events should be a must.
It blows my mind that they have no problems taking our money but 2 years in a row can't keep their word. Nothing pisses me off more. Miss the old days were we were in the right for busting out someones teeth and vice versa for that ****. Words don't seem to mean **** anymore

HIN Vegas only sucked because it was tiny - not a "huge" show like HIN advertizes it to be.
Its sad that NOPI is better.
At least the "tone" was decent.

NOPI was definitely better! I was completely blown away with how friendly everyone was there. I must have had a 1/2hr conversation with the beer girl as well as the guy we had to go to for registering for show. Very cool experience and completely opposite of my HIN experience last year.

HIN was the worst show I have ever attended. They do not care about average cars they are simply interested in the corporate sponsored unlimited budget cars.
It's about getting $50 from 10,000 fanbois each weekend. I could give a damn about the booth babes and strip show. I like to see cars and I like to see my peers win at shows.
HIN is garbage. I worked my *** off promoting for them in '05 building up their show, bringing in groves of people and didn't even get a thank you. It was funny to see them telling people that were trying to get into the show that there wasn't any room left when you could have shot a cannon off in there and not hit anyone. They just wanted people to want to be inside even more.
