thats a good question I was thinking about maybe painting it ss but then I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. its an inexpensive mod that I am not about to try and make look like a million dollars. Its practicle and protects, thats what i was going for. Then again it also matches well with my car

+1. I don't know how well the paint would bond to rubber though. Also, one thing I forgot to mention... when you go up steep drive ways or enter plaza's with steep inclines, make sure you go in at an angle so you don't bottom out. If you go in straight and are moving too fast, the lip will scrape the pavement and get ripped off. Trust me, I have had this happen and had to then replace the lip. If you go in slow, it may still drag, but it won't come off.

^ thats funny you say that bc my car is already lowered so that has been daily practice for me anyway. although I did hit a parking block bc the lip sticks out an exrtra inch or so but it just kinda absorbed the concrete and then bent right back into place

Any pics of the packaging of the product? Any better closeup pics?

This is a very nice alternative until I purchase a mspeed front, thanks for the info.

this is what you need. also grab some automotive 3m double sided tape and some sissors. Thats all it takes. I took the bumper off to do this to make sure it was all level and plus I didnt want to work on my back while I did it. if you go to the mazda3 forum and search "home depot lip" then there is a good DIY on what to do. BTW this has been used by so many different forums, wrx, mini, maxda3, vw, audi, bmw, thats to name a few. pretty popular and well thought idea.
