if not wrong, those volks are the latest GT7, ordered them for myself as well, my rims are already here but still at the ports pending custom clearing for almost a week now, heard that they are really strict nowadays due to recent bombing around the world

looking at those pictures, I know now that I had not made the wrong decision!!!! cant wait to get my hands on them now.

Look at the pics; that guy in the tan shirt is the the rx *****-style witnessing history in the making.

The car is hot, the body kit comes two-toned, and the wheels look a lot better in person. Even though the car looks hot in the pics, like the original, they do not do the car it's justice. I believe this is the hottest car I may have ever seen in person.

Next step will be lowering the car, (according to the owner) to put the final bling bling on it.

If you want to see it it will be at the car show in baltimore today. 9.5.03.

I read previously that there is a new mounting bracket included with the bumper cover, but they have chosen to not install it here.

Gorgeous! Nice job with the wheel and kit choice!

Can you enlighten us on the size and offset of the front and rear GT7s?

19x? +35?

Thanks!

I hope I dont leave any questions out but I will try to answer them all.....

The cost of the kit was somewhere in the 5k range. Like I said before I lost track after all of the shipping fees that we added on to get it here faster.

There are preset holes in the bumper, up under the lip, right infront of the grill for the front tag. I hate front tags!!!!!!!Virginia sucks with that law!!!!

The offset on the wheels are 46 in the front 36 in the rear.

Sorry if I left any body out!

There is no Mazda logo on the front.....If somebody wants one there, they are gonna have to measure it and tap the holes themselves I dont know if i am gonna do that just yet.

If someone is considering an RX8 Grand Touring with Appearance package (approx $) BUT is also interested in the Mazdaspeed kit (cost approx $5000) ...... dont wanna pay toooo much .... you got two options:

Option #1:
--------------
RX8 Grand Touring with appearance package
= $32,070

Option #2:
--------------
RX Sport Package + Mazdaspeed kit
= $28,300 + $5000
= $33,300
(also, at the cost of not having leather seats, Bose, Homelink, moonroof)

Which would you choose?

Personally I chose the 1GT package. I left my convertable for this so I had to atleast have a moonroof and ofcourse leather.

yeah, i would prefer the GT, just skip the appearance stuff, save a G or two, and spend a litlte more for the kit... the touring at the very least to grab the sunroof

yes this WAS a Protege meet, but I'm gonna bring my RX-7 to the meet, and there'll be a couple Miatas there as well, so we might as well have a few 8's to complete the lineup

we may even go out for a drive afterward!
