fitment
How was your fitment with the BHR midpipe and RB rev 8 exh? I have the same combo but the shop I took it to had a big problem fitting the midpipe with the RB exhaust. It led to a leak and them having to attempt to patch it up.

That's weird. I installed everything myself and didn't notice any fitment issues or leak. I wonder if the issue is from the midpipe or cat back but both BHR and racing beat have a good reputation for fitment.

Sounds like the shop didn't have a clue, I have installed that combo a couple of times as well as the BHR with various catbacks and the only one I know of that had an issue was on my own car due to the TurboXS catback not being designed to bolt up to the factory cat pipe.
The BHR is designed to work with the stock exhaust flange and most after market cat back mimic that so that it works with the stock cat pipe.

Long time no post. I finally got around to installing some chassis braces. Minor issue, I had to take off my current exhaust setup due to interference with the diff brace. An exhaust upgrade is in order.

Awesome build! I was looking at doing something similar after my accident with the R3 conversion, but I ended up taking it a different way.
Out of curiosity, are you running any heat shields for your CF hood?

My hood is fiberglass and no I don't have any heat shields or heat related issues but I'll keep an eye out. You can definitely feel the hot air escaping from the hoods vents after a long drive.

Gotcha! I definitely agree that the vents help with getting some hot air out though.
