I would suggest that you learn driving on another car. Having a fast (or even relatively fast car in this case) is not the best or most safe way to initially learn. Either way, best of luck and don't hurt yourself in the process.

Congrats dude. Great choice in car and color. I got my VR when I was 17. Still love it as much as I did a couple years ago.

You'll get the stick down really soon, no worries. Great car to rev-match, engine break and heel-n-toe and whatnot.

Be careful, on the road and off (when it comes to the other guys and social life, you'll see, people can lure you into stupid things).

srry if i dont post much, in a hotel on vacation atm. Regarding me learning on another car. In the first post isaid i practiced with my father on a manual for a few months. I know how its just i had to get used to shifting smoothly and not giving the passengers whip lash =P

mods, so far...once i get back from vacation im going to order some O.Z. ultrelegra blacks...unless something even more awesome catches my eye. performance mods, not any until i get my lisence

well i saved up roughly 5k over the past 8 years just because im a saver and that is between christmas birthdays....and just dilligent saving, my mom had me pay about 3k of my own cash for the car because it was more than she wanted to spend. Originally i planed to spend the full 5k for mods and stuff for my first car, i only have money for rims/tires...then maybe enough leftover for an exhaust?

 

or possibly enough money for gas for 2-3 months while i work out the job situation...may start working at In-n-out

Don't you guys talk to me about gas prices, you still have it good compared to us! I ge about 180 miles from 50ltrs which cost about £45 - £50 which is $90 - $100 USD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
