:suspect: |
lets just say, he has about 5 or so large boxes of goodies in the garage ;)
saw them all last night. lots of good things coming for this car. every time I think my car is better he does something else to "up the ante" |
Yeah I have one of those people here in SA too  But I'm fighting a losing battle

Custom Dual Vent Gauge Pod
18 Attachment(s)
So yesterday I decided I was going to make a Custom Dual Vent Gauge Pod....
Here's what I started with... Attachment 289324 Attachment 289325 Here's everything molded together initially before filing and sanding... Attachment 289326 Attachment 289327 Test Fit... Attachment 289328 Pics throughout the process, thought I had it finished yesterday, then test fit it again today and decided I didn't like the angle of it, so I cut the vent and gauge pods apart to angle it more towards me for a better view of the gauges, didn't really take pics of that part though... Attachment 289329 Attachment 289330 Attachment 289331 Attachment 289332 Attachment 289333 Attachment 289334 Attachment 289335 Attachment 289336 Attachment 289337 Attachment 289338 Attachment 289339 And now for the finished product... Attachment 289340 Attachment 289341 |

not original but guys, after seeing this in person, it turned out just as well as, if not better then the one I bought. Well done Kyle. Things are coming together nicely. Paint turned out well too.
|
Nice work! What did you use to mold the pieces together?
|
subbed
|
Yeah it looks cleaner than my dual vent pod. Great Job.
|
LOL Thanks guys!
Pdx - I used Aves Apoxie Sculpt to mold everything together |
Nice homemade pod.
