Attachment 231823 Attachment 231824 Attachment 231825 Didn't really have a chance to do much work on the car this weekend I was getting my Uncle's Jeep setup to be flat towed by his RV. I'm still waiting on some parts and some fab work to be completed so this build will be happening over the next month or so. |
Battery Harness has been completely pulled apart and stripped down...
http://i444.photobucket.com/albums/q...d/IMG_2996.jpg The battery will be relocated to the trunk so I'll be rerouting and re-sleeving the battery harness for a cleaner look. |
kma5783 you are a genius. I could never pull my car apart like that. I'm afraid i wouldn't be able to put it back right or get it started.
Good luck on your build is looking great. |
I'm curious how you are going to run everything for your battery once you put that wiring back together. Mine is pretty nasty after 130,000 miles, I'd like to clean it up when I relocate it. Hoss-05 and I just got all the stuff to do ours. Can you finish yours so I can copy you? kthxbi.

lewlz^
sadly I am actually doing the same as you Scott  Waiting for him to complete his so he can come and do mine with ease  |

Yep, the costs never end  Finding good 2 gauge wire that was still easily bendable was pretty hard but Hoss found some online.

I'm not sure where Hoss-05 got it but you can him if you want. But honestly that is a pretty good deal and the wire count looks very high, it should work well.

I'm considering reusing my current amp power wire as my Ground Wire, it's 4 gauge and IMO it should work fine. What do you think? I know I could just ground it in the trunk but a good ground is very important. |
We are running all the way back to the front for the ground but that is only because Hoss-05 is the electronics expert and he says that is best

you paid $4 per nut? for 50 of them? Damn.. Looks like they marked up the price 3 or 4 times past making profit. $0.50-$1.00 is much more reasonable.

hmm, wire tuck? this could make things even more interesting.
