I hate thieves... I wouldn't have a problem shooting the people who stole my wheels from me just for general principle. Maybe a warning shot to their spleen with a 12 gauge hollowpoint slug.

I did have a few important things in my car and I am glad they didn't get through. My passport, accessport, and expensive text books -_-! Greg, thanks for standing up for me, but I know Geforce and he's just messing. I appreciate everyone else's help and support also! do also own a RDX and I think I'll drive that from now on. Hopefully this won't happen to anyone else attending UH. I don't mean to startle anyone, because the white rx8 parked next to me was untouched.
Update: I called my insurance agent, and he said that I needed a police report to file a claim on my car's door. He also claimed that it's going to be hard to get my insurance to pay for the scratches, and the damaged bumper. Does anyone have similar experience? I have full coverage. I am looking to call the insurance company this Tuesday and see what they say.

I had a set of wheels stolen out of my garage one night, they were still dirty so the theif took my pressure washer too. wish I could have walked out with the 9 mill in hand.... hehe jk but seriously stealing is super lame

insurance has to pay for everything.

if they want to be a dick about it, they will ask you for your deductible on every single dent. thats when you ask a lawyer to write them a letter.

or, if the police report calls it all one incident, the insurance company will cover it that way.

someone dented my rear bumper (parking lot) at one point, leaving 5 different dents. 2 from the screws of the license plate and 3 from other points. they wanted to call it 3 different hits and have me pay my deductible x3. i complained and asked for the senior adjuster who gave me a big spiel about how thats how they normally do it, but since we've been with geico for 16 years they'll cover it all as one.

Thanks for the heads up! Haven't had time to make any calls to the insurance company yet. Hopefully if the claim goes well, it won't increase my rate.

comprehensive doesnt raise your rate.

and not-at-fault collision does not raise your rate either. unless you have a ridiculously high number of them. then you are labeled accident prone.
