Looking for RX-8 hot-lap laguna Seca video
A year or so ago I saw a fun video of an RX-8 doing a hot-lap at Laguna Seca. Mazda since redid their website and the old link no longer works:
http://rotarynews.com/node/view/480
Nor does the one here:
https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/best-motoring-rx8-video-download-link-4252/
Anyone have this video or know where I can find it? I have some others (time attack, etc) but would like to watch this one again.
Thanks!

^ Nope, that's the time-attack video from Best Motoring. I'm looking for the hot-lap video that Mazda used to have on their site (it's in Englsh, not Japanese).

The one they had on the Mazda website is identicle to the Best Motoring video. Unless I am not looking at the same Mazda website as you are. The one on the Mazda website I looked at is just the driving part without the feet camera angle and no talking.

No that's a time-attack video with a different driver. The guy in the video I'm looking for does a hot-lap (i.e. he drifts through many turns and isn't going for best lap-time).
The video I'm looking for is the one from this thread:
https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/rx-8-laguna-seca-53429/#post743626
It was embedded in flash on Mazda's site before they revamped it. I figure someone must've captured the stream and saved it.

I am not a track racer by any means.....so this maybe a strange question. Is right foot braking common in track racing? I just watched the Time Attack vid for the first time and I thought looked weird the way the guy kept right foot braking. Is this common race track driving technique?

This is not the video you're looking for but can someone please inform me whats going on in this video.....
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...3037790&q=RX-8
Pay no attention to the beginning of it and start paying attention at 1:42. Sorry if this has been discussed in a previous thread. But I'd also like to see that Laguna Seca vid.
