I think they look like crap. But they're track wheels which can be fine to make a car look like an painted up *****. With all the turbos out in Zona he was probably getting worried someone might mistake another black 8 on the track for his. No chance of this now. 
Not sure why he went with Nittos instead of rcomps. Just not in the mood to do tire swaps at the track or were these a nice back of a pickup truck kinda deal?
BTW - people know that 'rice' is when someone puts on a part meant for the track onto their daily driver without any gains or reason, right? When you do something to your car only for track duty it's the exact opposite of rice. At least that's what I've been telling myself everytime I've contemplated doing a yellow powdercoating to my stocker track wheels.
