Mazdaspeed bodykit w/Volks
#28
What body kit is this (make, model) and how much?
From Mazda -- upwards of $3000 painted
Generic KnockOffs -- as low as $600 unpainted
How fast are these cars (ie., can you guys "beat" a 350Z)?
On a track it's a good matchup; the more curves the more likely the RX-8 will win.

Im Danomite,
where did you order your SF Challenges from? As far as I could tell, MVPmotorsports was the only site from the links above that sells them. Thanks.

well, actually, my friend own's a shop and he deals with either Mackin Industries or MVP motorsports to get Volk wheels. my friend has a supra so he went through MVP Motorsports b/c the owner, Dusty, is a supra owner.
give desmond performance a call as well. i'm talkin' with them right now on a set of Work Emotion CR Kai. they seem like awesome people, i will let you know how the deal goes.
http://www.mackinindustries.com/md/rays/dist_volk.html check the list of distributors. MVP is located in Texas and Desmond is located in North Carolina. I'd check with Desmond first and see if they have what you want in stock, shipping might be cheaper that way. if they say they need to ship from California, check with MVP.
ask for Daniel @ Desmond, he's the guy i'm dealing with now. tell him Dan/xxmrdan2xx@yahoo.com sent you...maybe he'll give us both a good deal!!
**edit** usually, they don't post pictures or whatever of every single product they sell. but since both of these shops are authorized volk dealers, they can get anything you want.
i've dealt with gruppe-s a couple times...but for small things. tein ha coilovers and couple electronics for my MR2 turbo. so i don't know how they are with wheels.

alrighty, i just got an e-mail back from Daniel @ Desmond Performance and he has offered to get me Work Emotion CR Kai 18" wheels, lug/locking nut kit, hub centering rings, and shipping for a total of $1385 out the door. it was originally $1563. shipping will only take a week to arrive at my door, or so he says. i can definately work with that.
he's an awesome guy to deal with and he's very quick on response. looks like i'm gettin' myself some Work wheels. woohoo!!!
i'll keep you updated when the wheels are paid for and shipped. hopefully everything goes smoothly.
