most likely a cheap knockoff that won't fit right, had too many bad experiences with fiberglass

I talked with them a while back- it is a direct mold of the MS kit- if that means anything. ALso a member here ordered it and will install in a few weeks.

The exact same thing happened when the Nismo kit first came out for the Z. A lot of people bought the knock off kit for $6-800, and for the most part they didn't fit 100% perfectly, but I think any competent body shop can fix that. In the end, the price is great, but slightly comprimises sturdiness and fit/finish. It's good to see alternatives to the super expensive authentic kit though.

Also, don't forget that the Mazdaspeed kit comes painted and made of a combo of ABS and polyproplyne - substancially better stuff.
If you don't have the ability to paint and fit the kit yourself, expect to add $600 to $1000 to the price.

I'm sure bodyshops can fit the kits or modify them for it to fit the car. But in the end, they will charge you more for their time. I learned my lesson awhile back buying a cheap fiberglass knockoff. The bodyshop could not fit it so they had to modify it and add extra bondo and shave parts off. After that, the paint didnt look too great on fiberglass also. I was charged a lot for their custom work. I should have just bought the real deal kit or a really good urethane knock off.
