Me and my RX8 at ice race

HI everyone. These are some pics taken last weekend at an ice race in West Salem, WI. The track was really fun and there were quite a few cars. It was mostly studded cars, a bunch of all weel drive, a few front wheel and then me with my Nokian tires. It snowed about 4 or 5 inches over the day and by the end there were huge puddles on the track. I've also autocrossed my car but I think ice racing is awesome! Enjoy the pics, I have more if anyone is interested.

And the Subi dealer laughed at me for driving my 8 when we were expecting flurries (I have a set of blizzaks). They even had a used 8 on their lot!

only problem I see is that your arms seem to be crossed a bit too much :P might jsut be me seeing wrong or the camera angle

That's awesome... I need to find out more about that. I've done some impromptu solo ice racing on Lake Geneva the previous two years, but this year was too warm. I love the looks you get drifting on a lake with a sports car

Seriously your car was able to move in that!? I attempted driving through a crazy snowstorm in northern VA about a month or so ago and anytime I hit more the 6 and a half MPH I was sliding all over the place. It was cool though at 1am I was able to drive in the oncoming lane on a f'n bridge.
