If you are 19 and you did get your 8 legitimately from your own hard work, then congrats, but most people that age couldn't dream to afford a car that expensive.
Although true most can't afford the 8 in college some can. I guess I was fortunate enough to have my parents pay for my education, because that allowed me to spend my money on my 8. Although mine wont be paid off until october i still bought it with my own money

I would'nt say that. I bet a full tank of gas on that car lasts him a long time.

Ofcourse it's no rx8 but these days we have to consider the economics when buying cars.

Well since we're all replying to your post sounds like your stereotyping the income earning abilities of the average 19 year old. I know a few that make bundles of cash as programmers in the gaming community. One guy I know makes more now than I could barely dream of...albeit he's certainly not your average 19 year old! He's 21 now and drives a 350Z and wants to upgrade to a 911 :p AND....he dropped outta college.

I agree. You'd be surprised how many of us youngsters fit that profile. I've owned my own business since I was 17 and have bought 4 new cars since then (not the most wise investments). Some of us Gen X and Yers may surprise you yet!

Geez Louise - I had no idea I would stir up so much controversy.....yikes!!!!
but actually if you think about it - most 19yr olds that have an 8 are not your typical 19yr old...thats not to say there isnt something to be said about those who do not have one.....everyone's situation is different.....we should just all be grateful that we have one regardless of the circumstances surrounding our ownership.....I know I am!! :D
