My Accident

check that again. i was just in an accident in my other car and have state farm (i think i remember you saying earlier in the thread that is who you have but am too lazy to check) as well. i picked a shop that had been recommended by a friend, state farm came out and made a list and how much it should be, they cut a check for that amount (minus deductable), i took that to the shop, he fixed it, he took the check, i walked away with the car. it wasn't on their list but was just as easy.

3. Female drivers - They are simply blind, blind spot or not. they never check anywhere before they switch lanes, and want to go as slow if not slow than the old driver group. Or they can go F2F without knowing that they cant drive for ****. I know a lot of female drivers on this board but hey, Im sorry, thats how I see it, at least in New York City. and when I go out with my friends w/o my car, as soon as I found out the driver is a female(or male but drunk), I will just say bye and call Car service myself.
Hope it works out for ya.

Hello sexist pig.
You left out another group.
4. Stupid males that seem to have to prove their so called 'manhood' and act like total dicks on the road, speed up and try pick up females whilst we driving and almost causing accidents that way. Those stupid males also feel the need to 'race' any sort of sporty looking car like some sort of **** competition.

ivory8 - At least you are ok. I think someone already said it but next time use ur car horn!! Even if you see a car slightly flinch into your direction, slow down and use the horn. I'm sure your car will look very new once fixed so not to worry

You just said I'm annoying? Do you have a problem with someone expressing their opinion? Or are you the only one who can do so?
What I quoted didn't need to be posted. I am sick to death of some of the ridiculas males on here stating that female drivers are bad. Stop generalising. You don't know me, Kimberly, Pat, and many other of the females on here that actually have modified RX8s that we do the work to our cars ourselves, and participate in motorsports.
I really do feel for ivory8. Nothing worse then having an accident so close to receiving your licence. There will always be some reluctance and only way for him to overcome is to get back out there, this is how we learn. Sometimes lessons are very expensive.
No it wasn't a threat but I am sick of you bagging me out on the forum because of something you don't like that I said. Like I said, PM me, you, yourself said this doesn't need to be discussed in this thread.

i will post one more time on it. i never said you cant say your opinion. i said this thread wasnt the right place for it. you say that if i have a problem with what you say that i should PM you, well why didnt you PM the guy you quoted on it?
You assume that just because we have testosterone that we are ********, well then its safe for me to assume that you are an annoying feminist. I dont know you, but you dont know me, or a lot of the guys on here that you call pigs, so what gives you the right to call us ********?
I never said they dont do their own work and i never came close to even implying it. i dont see how thats relevant.
A word of advise, you need to chill. Its just the internet, and obviously you are insecure in your ideas if you let some words on the internet get under your skin.
But if you wish, post a thread on your ideas, and i may show up to have a friendly debate with you.

For the past 3 years and 11 months, I've learned that, there are 3 types of drivers to Avoid :
1. Drunk drivers - Drink and drive is OK IMO, a cup of beer, wow, big deal. It wont affect your ability to react, but when they're Drunk, say, more than a cup or a bottle of beer, thats another story, I 'seen a lot them swifting around lanes and stuff, you can tell that the driver cant go straight, avoid those
2. Old drivers - If they look old to you(to me), avoid them. They often have slow reaction and want to go 35 mph when everyone else doing 60 mph on highway. Avoid them
3. Female drivers - They are simply blind, blind spot or not. they never check anywhere before they switch lanes, and want to go as slow if not slow than the old driver group. Or they can go F2F without knowing that they cant drive for ****. I'm very sorry that happened to you.
Please take some advanced driving courses. If something like this happens to you again (it will) you need to be able to react based on training and save your car and perhaps your life..

Now you can take offence to this due to the fact that your female but I think its due to half the time you ladies just cruz along and dont mind your blind spot "over your shoulder" when you change lanes or are talking on the cell phone lol. Hell most dont.
Jordan has come to know this "blind spot" now and with all the drunks in this Town of 2 million people, will prob never drive in someones "blind spot" ever!.
I feel for you Jordan and I hope you get your 8 back soon.

I think it depends on the "state of mind" of the individual. Jordan or Ivory8 as some of us know him, resides in Las Vegas NV, I do too, where some of the worst drivers are "Female". In this case that puts a damper on the subject. However on my drive home I pass through Chinatown and some of the worst drivers I see in that spot and around town are "Female".

Every year or so the state of Nevada does a rate comparison on several drivers. They try to get a good average on age and drivers criteria. In most cases we (men) pay more in premium. Several areas are looked at when assessing risk and the boy's take more risk. We are in more accidents and get more tickets... What do you expect we are trying to get the chicks... I have attached the states findings for 2006. I am in the insurance industry and this topic comes up a lot. Turn to page 32 and enjoy...
