seriously people need to stop freakin complaining. why can't you guys be happy for the guy and stop being techinical. sorry im just kind of annoyed from always having to hear complaints. blahh. newayz yeah addicitrx is a good guy. i know him personally. and he acts no way like a cocky or flashy kind of guy. he's a cool guy. haha i don't know i felt like i needed to vent.

I find it an insult to my profession that people call themselves engineers without an accredited degree. Technically, in Canada (and most european countries), you aren't really even an engineer unless you've worked at least 4 years in the industry, registered with your professional organization, and passed a test. Then you get to sign your name with P.Eng (professional engineer).
Good luck in college, though. And no, an MCSE definitely does not make you an engineer. Maybe down there, but not in most places.

im 23 and i a have 2 bachelor degrees. 1 in computer information systems and the other in network communications management. I do technical support for a credited computer component company. I still consider myself a peon. Hhahah..did i also mention that i drive a crx.haha

Rotary, in Canada you would not be an engineer. In fact, if you called yourself an engineer, or had it written on your business card, you could be sued by the CCPE since they have a trademark on the term "engineer".
It's sad to see that people feel it's socially acceptable to call themselves an engineer without having gone through the minimum 4 or 5 rigorous years of a bachelor's degree.

BTW, I'm not knocking your certifications- I'm also an MCSE (97) and CNE (97), but they don't make me an engineer... my degree from UF does.

I agree with the prior two posts - this thread got hijacked and became an engineering argument vs. blasting some "silver spoon" rich kid who's using daddy's money to finance his car habit. Back to topic...
First of all, the "supermodel" girlfriend picture can be absconded from any website. Although I'm well blessed in the wife department, I could claim any number of strippers as my girlfriend if I only post a picture of them. Enough about that.
Secondly, I think that, if I'm wrong on the above statement, you must be either a) incredibly lucky, b) incredibly good looking, c) incredibly charismatic, d) all of the above, e) a charity case for which she is caring, or f) an LA money grabber on the level of Anna Nicole Smith who is hoping that you kill yourself by falling off of your wallet. I'm not a betting man, but if I were to guess, I'd take F. Any takers?
