Listening to you talking about the car with the esmeril kit made me smile lol, no homo. Made me think twice about what I wanted to do with my car haha. Whish you and your car well, seems like you're having a freaking blast dude.

Good Luck with everything!

EDIT: Oh yea, just a small clip of the car would be nice lol.

Well, things are alway fun when everything come together as you expected. If you plan on doing turbo, make sure you put aside some money in case things go wrong. YOu will need supporting mods to go with the turbo too. It is not like slap the turbo on and you good to go. Also make sure you are working with someone that have experience with turbo on RX8. Do a lot of searching before you jump into it. I decide to go this route mainly because I have good support from friends and Esmeril is 15 mins from my house. In the end does it worth it? I would say yes because I can't stop giggling everytime I hit that loud pedal.

Its all good dude, if I really wanted to get dirty, I could do the install myself but I've been stuck on a N/A 20B lately. I've saved the money for the build as far as fabricating, install, tuning but I'm sure there is more so I'm still saving. It seems like the longer I wait to gather my ideas, the more I think about the esmeril kit OR ANY TURBO KIT FOR THAT MATTER, lol. I know what it takes to properly build a FI car but my worries have always been, not being able to stick with one thing and regret not doing this or that, you know? I've had VERY FEW FI vehicles prior but none like the overall balance of the RX8. I had originally planned on just bridgporting and turbo but since I had more money than expected, I said whatever, I'd rather go 20B Bridgeport, then I saw a handful of turbo 8's and said I wanted to go turbo. Not to get off topic, just a bucnh of confused thoughts of mine. I'm very picky when it comes to any type of build.

I can only imagine how convenient it is for Esmeril to be only 15 mins from you, so I see it almost as a safety net, IDK??

Great Build again.

Bhop,
Well, you can't go wrong with 20b so if I were you I would stick to the plan. Whether turbo or not, you will get more reliable HP from the 20b and not to mention the torque! Take your time and get it right first time.

And yes, it is great to have Chris as a good friend and also a rotorhead 15 mins from my house. He always there to answer all the questions that I have to get the worry off my mind. The tune I have right now is a safe tune where we tuned it really close to the point that it is running too rich. It is plenty fast at 8lbs of boost.

Good luck with your proj and don't forget to post it in forum when you done.

I still get surprised to hear how fast it is at only 8lbs of boost, pretty insane. I will make sure my buid will be up here, hopefully it can start this winter when I have a break lol. I'm just going over a few things with the people/website who have the 20B. It's an expensive route that I'm willing to take even bridgeporting/turbo. Anyways, thanks for the advice.

The kit come with a T-70 turbo which is larger than turbo from other kits. So even if it is only at 8 lbs of boost it still flow a lot of air than other smaller turbos at the same boost level. Also big turbo doesn't have to work as hard as the smaller turbos at the same given psi. It is totally transform the car. I love it!

Good luck with your built. One of our friend here bought a 20B and it is sitting in his living room at the moment. He hopes to have it done by next summer or so.

Of course, its a T-70. 20B sitting in the living room, lol. Well, if you ever get a chance, ask him how much he paid for it because, I've seen some people get some damn good deals on one.
