My first tat
#26
Next time you get a tat check out the guys work first, or find someone with a bunch and see where they got them. I like it, but who ever did that should be fired cause they cant draw strait for ****. My g/f is covered in Tattoos most are from apprentice, and they look a million times better.
You can still get that fixed, its not to bad. I really suggest you find a new guy.

This reminds me of this guy that I saw once on the street. A white guy with chinese characters tat on one arm. (I guess they love that stuff.) Too bad the characters meant "interest" (as in bank interest). What a dumbass. I bet the other arm had "mortgage" on it!!

Actually.. on the same note, I also saw a guy driving an MX-3 Precidia with a Japanese-written windshield decal. Only when translated it said "Integra". Do they ever learn? haha..

I would have to agree with 9k about how it's very 8 specific... I think a simple rotor shape design would probably have looked better (imo). Possibly something like 13B would have worked as well though. Not a huge fan of tats, and I dont have one. But no disrespect to those that do... except people who get chinese that they dont understand. Saw one a week ago that had the symbol for "ear" on their arm... Either a good sense of humor or a dumb choice lol.

Like Chr1s I want to welcome you to both clubs. The tat does look pretty good.If you do plan on continuing the addiction you have started you will end up like me ( 9 and counting ) but the more you get the more you respect the art. do some studying up on artist before the next one. I have spent the last year trying to find someone to do freehand tribal to finish off my chest plate and shoulder wrap.

Whatever dude, getting a tat of one car you have owned is ******' dumb any way you look at it. (edited for sake of the board). I don't represent you or Texas. I'm sure plenty of poeple agree with me but choose to say nothing. I don't really care, it's my opinion so let it bother you or don't.
9krpmrx8... you're an idiot

I dig it.
Anyone here of ClubRSX.com? I designed the logo and the owner has a tat of it on the back of his neck. Crazy....some think so. But it's cool to know my design is permanately on someone who loves it.

Looks cool
I have a number of tats, I like it, I think the design is neat, and I kinda like the lettering as well. I wouldn't feel like critiqueing the skill of the artist that did it till I saw it healed and the original picture/artwork it was based off of. From looking at it, it doesn't appear that it was intended to have a mechanical "straight" edge look to it, more like a brush stroke rotary triangle.
Anyhow, I think it looks pretty sharp, congrats on the new ink, and I hope you never regret it, but as it isn't a name or an "off the wall special" I think the chances of that are drastically lower than normal.
That's the way I roll, they have to have significance, a life event, a meaningful piece of literature, a dead friend or family member memorial, in other words, something important in your life that you never want to forget, and having that little reminder will bring a fond memory to the forefront of your mind every once in a while.
Psuedo off topic, but what the hell are people thinking who go in an pick some garbage off the wall at random? The number of dummies around with a tazmanian devil on their *** or a panther scratching them that regret it are just astronomical....

I don't think I need to have an RX8 forever, tat's can be used as a way to commemorate the moment you are in... almost like a photo album, and yeah, my car will never cheat on me, there was a woman there getting her husband's name tat'd on her neck, and the guy told her that he puts one on and takes two off a week, and she said she'd just do what she did with the other 3 and cover them up!!! That's stupid.

Thanks Kimmy.
Yes, I do have a tat but it is specific to my Irish heritage and my boxing days. I don't regret it because I will always be Irish but if I had to do it again I wouldn't. Say what you want but that tat is weak.

So you were a boxer eh? Few to many blows to the head obviously. For you to be a hypocritical bastard, so it's ok for you to have a tat of one of your hobbies/sport but when I do it I'm a dumbass? WTF? The tat does need a little work, the brushed style on the rotor itself did not turn out as well as we had hoped, when I get my touch up I will have it filled in more solid. I appreciate the constructive opinions from everyone else. But you, 9k can E.S.A.D

Back to topic: I think the solid will definitely make the rotor look better.

Drive like you stole it!
why is everyone giving 9krpmrx8 the beat down because he doesn't like that tat?
The OP said "Showing my RX8 love, let me know what you all think."
When you post something like that you are going to get reactions good and bad no?
Having said that, I wouldn't do it - to use the words the OP would like the naysayers to use

not a fan of the style used for the lettering but I'll give you credit for having a set of brass *****.
