My first time claybarring & waxing! (25 pics @ 800x600; 56k'ers are warned)

This is the result of approximately 5 hours of toil on my behalf; I have never put so much effort into washing a car! I went through a whole bottle of detailer claybarring the car. This is only 1 coat of wax, and I have no idea if I used too much or too little. Pictures are a real pain to take at night; these will have to suffice. Let me know what you think!

The car looks really clean, but sadly it's really hard to appreciate a good coat of was on a white car.

More pictures in daylight would be better.

Yeh, it looks like I could probably do a better job on the black plastic there... (unless you are referring to the accent to which I scoff at you!). Anyway, daytime pictures!

Very clean! The only thing about white cars is that the detail job doesn't show up as much (vs a black car). But great job nevertheless.

Looking good its allot easier to see your work in the sunlight. I have always loved the white 8s, though like others have said its harder to see the light play of the curves. I also like the flow of yours.

Good job.

Delete that pic where you can see the streaks on the black plastic, and you are set! To get really good pics, I think you are going to have to find some really bright light. Your daytime pics look overcast. I'm jealous though that other than the 20 minutes right after I wash it, your car will always be cleaner than mine (bb).

Done :D I'll have to pay more attention to that part of the car... is there a sort of cleaner specifically made for that black plastic?

Yes indeed it was overcast all day today; it rained too

On a side note, i'm thinking about getting B pillar appliques... yea or nay? It'd be nice if they sold them without lettering on them at all (to try to keep with the clean look). I might opt for the JDM ones if anything...

I haven't tried it but someone mentioned "Magic Eraser" sold under the Mr. Clean label.
