Hey All!
Thanks!
Well my best time was 15,542 sec @ 142,84 kph (ca. 89 mph) My 20" wheels are very heavy. 28,6 kg/pcs (ca. 59 lbs/pcs.) An my car is with me and full tank 1540 kg (ca. 3350 lbs) and it has only exterial mods. The launch on the vid was terrible, i know. ;-)
With OEM wheels and without body kit:

EDIT: sorry! My wheels 28,6 kg/pcs = 62,9 lbs/pcs, and my car: 1540 kg = 3388 lbs
Thanks!

Well, I got you beat. My best time at Island Dragway was 15.49 @ 91mph. Did 10 passes that night. Pretty much bone stock 2006 Rx8 besides the appearance package. So, I saved on the upgrades???? The time slips are in the car yet, I'll have to scan them for ya'll.

Oh, ...it's a 6 speed, so basically, 1st gear until it started beeping at me....and shift right before it cuts off the gas @ 10k, then run it up until you hear it beeping at ya again and once again, nail the shift up to 3rd before it starts to cut off the gas at 10K....and 3rd gear to the finish of the 1/4 mile, it starts beeping, but don't need 4th gear. Done in 3rd at 10k again.

It would have been more fun to watch had that giant FIST not been directly in the camera's view. Not the best run I've seen (by a long shot), but you ran it, so good for you.

15.4 for stock car is lame.

why is it some people can get well into the 14's while others are over a second slower, bad drivers and low compression engines? i find it hard to believe, its not that complicated to 1/4m successfully.
my first time to the drag strip i ran a 14.8 after a few runs and that was with a car that refused to rush the 3-4th shift. i need to revisit the strip and get some proof i can run mid 14's.

With orig. 18" wheels and with body kit i would run on 14/ mile garanteed under 15 sec (maybe 14.9 sec) Without the body kit and with 18" wheels 14.8 is easyli possible. With only 10 litre Gasoline in the tank is 14.6 sec maybe possible.
On the first vid my car is 3388 lbs with the 20" rims and 235/35 ZR20 tires (complete 62,9 lbs/pcs), half tank (28-29 litre), and me (187 lbs). The air resistance of the body kit and wing over 60 mph is not negligible. I do premixing too and premixing reduces the octan in the gasoline.
@RX OCHO: Yeah, you're right, but my car is a showcar at first and not a drag car :-)
