My New Dash & Trunk
#27
yeah, i would love to see a nice side shot of the entire car. I really like the autobahn side vents. How much did it cost you to paint them? Did they have to primer, paint and clearcoat them?

yes, i need a stock trunk lid. i debadged my car and got those ugly holes in my current trunk lid. i could get them filled, but i thought i'd just get a new one whenever i get the lip spoiler b/c i have the US stock spoiler now and i'm not sure if the lip spoiler will cover/use the spoiler holes.
how much did the cf trunk run? i love the look of keeping a little cf but not all of it - i don't like too much cf.

Dude, I don't think you've read my posts. The whole idea from the begining was to have the top portion of the trunk painted. I'm to old to have a big chunk of CF on my car like every pimple faced teenager in their POS. I'm not trying to be all JDM either, too rice for my taste.

Looks really good with the new lip spoiler and CF trunk.
The dash set up looks really slick also. The location for the coilover electronics is perfect. Was it hard running all the wires necessary for that set up?

thanks Bruce, you can run the wires through the center of the car and if you're swift with your fingers you can also run the wires for the controller without taking the radio unit off.

They're the Autobahn CF side vents. I've heard you can find non-CF versions for around $100, gotta have them painted though. I originally wanted the CF, but it started to yellow and wasn't too impressed with the quality.
