thanks for the welcome!
I'll take some more pics tommorow.
Not sure about mods yet - the car sounds loud enough and is plenty stiff already with Bilstein shocks (initial travel esp. hopefully it will loosen up just a bit)
Wheels can be better looking though - Rota Boost in Steel Gray color maybe? or Enkei RP03

I didn't really test drive standard rx8 to directly compare but basically the ride is "busy" and a little jittery over small road imperfections but bigger bumps are well absorbed. Makes sense too since RX8 has long suspension travel and non-progressive springs.
On my old car, 03 Spec V I was running a Nismo setup and that was a progressive spring suspension - it absorbed small bumps well, but some biger bumps really upset it.

Maan as I'm getting more at home with this car I'm really loving it more and more.
I don't know what all these complains about low torque - plenty enough for me.
The car just begs to be revved. I'm still breaking it in so no WOTs, but the power is so buttery smooth and shifting is seamless and solid. Combined with no-roll, yet, compliant suspension, nice amount of grip and great balance this car just eats up the streets like a bat-out-of-hell.
I drove G35 coupe a few times and there is no comparison, the RX8 just blows it away in pure driving enjoyment IMO
What a sweet package - it does it all (except pick up Sirius and connect to my iPhone...but we'll fix that won't we)
