Problem:
Silver does your CF hood have MANY very very small white dots all over your hood? Ive had my hood for like a week or two and theres very very small white dots ALL over now that seem to be "in" the clear 'gel' coat that I cant get out. The hood is smooth to the touch, they are like embedded in the clear 'gel' coat and I dont know how these got there. I make sure my hood is clean everyday, I wipe it off atleast once a day but generally i wipe it down 2-3 times. How is this happening??? I emailed Assualtech's Dan about this and he said he would talk to Seibon and to send him a pic. Ill try to get a pic up on here soon if i can capture these small dots on camera. Anyone have any ideas??? I mean ive only had it for 2 weeks max and my hood is NEVER dirty. Anyone?

WTBRotary!,
looks like either dried wax, tiny paint spots that got sprayed on, or fading of the gel coat. If it is dried wax or paint spots, just use paint polish to remove it. If it is the fading of the top gel coat, all you have to do is wet sand it with 1200 grit sand paper, polish it with rubbing compound, then glaze it. That was exactly what I did when I had faded spots all over my hood. After I finished, my hood looks new again. But should try to find out for sure first before you touch your hood with sand paper... good luck!

This shouldn't be happening though to my hood... I've had it for 2 weeks max... Could be bubbles in the clearcoat right? Because I can't remove the dots.. They are in like the coat so I wouldn't be able to get them out... This makes me mad, I'm talking to the vendor now because this shouldn't be happening. Thanks for the help...

Well first off my side skirts are authentic Ings + 1, but I decided to purchase the replica rear mud guards because I cannot justify spending $500+ for the them. I got them off ebay... The fitment wasn't that great and required some work. If you don't want to have a headache, I would recommend you to go for the authentic ones (which I might switch to in the future).
