Um...No.......those are the stock 16 inch wheels that come with the base auto. complete with the mazda emblem in the center.

Great pics.... but those tires on the auto look huge compared to the 6MT's 18's. I had no idea they had such a tall profile. I wonder why Mazda did that... ?

dang . . . I just noticed the rx-8 looks better with the 16's than the 18's ! lol , nice ride , I got the same color but got the 18" 6 speed version.

thanks guys appreciate the comments. I never knew how the 16" looked before I got the car, guess I just got lucky that it wasnt fugly. Anyways, I've heard that the ride is smoother on the 16" but I havent got a chance to ride in a 8 with the 18" so I have nothing to compare it to. ANyways, glad you guys liked the pics!

Looks nice....like those rims! Enjoy the ride. I got mine in November too....I am just waiting for spring to hit so I can really enjoy the car withn the windows down, roof open and tooling around with my favorite tunes blaring.....ah...heaven!

I've seen pics of auto RX-8's with 16" wheels that look exactly like the 18's do. Is that an option, or are they avalible in different parts of the country?
