As a reminder, it's no longer sunlight silver. I find the mazda metallics (silver and others) to be pretty dull and flat compared to other modern cars.
I went with Satin Silver Metallic from a 99 honda on this one. I had an FD3S painted the same color...the paint people tell me it's basically the most metal flake of any stock auto paint. It may or may not show up in the pics, but the metal flake size is about double that of the stock car. Not bassboat style, but definitely pronounced metallic, like some of the nissan metallics.
When it's dusk, or overcast out, it just looks like any standard dull gray. When the sun comes out in midday that thing shines like a sheet of metal.

BTW, the car rides like stock except over the really big humps or sharpest bumps in the road. I was very surprised, having lowered lots of cars in my day.
At first I though the drop was too much myself as well. But the more I look at it, it grows on me. I've already gotten lots of compliments on it locally. Believe it or not, the tires don't rub even the slightest bit, even in hard turns. For $100 (what I paid for these), I dont think a man could ask for a better set of springs.
